Program Overview :

Generally, the world sorting is applied to rough diamond. Here the goods are assorted into groups having similar characteristics. The assorter needs to have more intimate knowledge of diamonds. The person undergoing training will have fairly good knowledge on rough diamond assortment.

Diamond identification, history & occurrences of diamonds, sieving, sorting terminology, sorting techniques, sorting into size, sorting into shapes, sorting into color, sorting into purity, sorting for manufacturing-makeable, sawable, cleavable, Instruments used for the processes.

Basics of Bruting, Bruting tips & techniques, yield recovery, fixing of diamonds, machine maintenance.
